Make Love Not War? You'll Be Killed In Bed

Sometimes the blatant ignorance people display is truly amazing to me. This is compounded further by the idea that our media seems to distribute this ignorance with rampant disregard for any shred of intelligence. In this case, it's the whole "war is always wrong, make love not war, etc, etc" movement I see beginning to show up these days.

Only a fool believes that there should never be war. Certainly a wonderful concept, but again quite foolish. There will always be tyranny, and the oppressed. The tyrant will always wage war to oppress others, the oppressed will always wage war to defeat tyranny, it's been that way, and will be that way, for as long as man inhabits the earth. I see a lot of problems come from the idea that a lot of people believe that everyone else thinks just like they do.

It is difficult for them to sit back and try to realize that there are people out there who have a blood lust for power, who thirst for it to sustain themselves. Hell we have people like that in the United States government. But in other countries that can mean being a war lord, and can mean oppression others. Also, a lot of these so called "peace lovers" you see around the United States should spend some time in prison being beaten and god knows what else in china, because then they will realize that, wow, sometimes there is a reason to fight back, and also, WOW, living in the United States really isn't so bad and it's good to have a strong military to protect our way of life.

Actually I don't agree with the war in Iraq, and I believe strongly that there will never be shots fired in this so called war. But understand that Bush has to remain strong and put the face of war on, regardless of how unpopular he is made by the idiot media to be, in order to force Saddam's hand in all of this. Remember that the media is a business and they are in the business of scandal, and what bigger scandal than trying to portray the leader of the land as an idiot who won't listen to the masses.

For the protesters out there, not everyone thinks like you do, not everyone has the luxury of getting up in the morning and being free to speak their mind, free to carry a peace sign and stand in front of the white house burning an american flag. Try doing that in China, try burning a Chinese flag in Beijing. You want to know what your prize will be? You get a bullet to the back of your head, and then your family gets the bill for the bullet. Freedom rocks, don't you forget it.
